SILESIAPOSTA - BRESLAU
(4th/7th Jan 1936)
There were three postcards issued to commemorate the 1936 Silesia Postal Exhibition. The design of the cards is the same, the only difference is the colour of the text and the value of the pre-printed stamp. The value stamp was either a 3Rpf, a 5Rpf or a 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp. The colour of the text and the image on the cards matches the colour of the value stamps.

Postcard, PP122-C-20, was intended to commemorate both the first "Day of the Stamp" and the "Founding Day of the R.d.P" or Reichsbund der Philatelisten, both of which were celebrated on the 7th Jan 1936. However this card, with slight variations was also used to commemorate the 105th Anniversary of Stephan, PP122-C-18, and the 75th Anniversary of Bergedorf stamps, PP122-C-30.

LEIPZIG TRADERS 25th ANNIVERSARY
PP122-C-22 and PP142-C-2

There were five postcards published to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Leipzig Association of Postage Stamp Traders. The first four all have 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamps. In addition to these four, there was another card which had a 5Rpf Luftpost Airmail stamp (PP142-C-2). All four designs are the same in either blue, brown, green or black.

4th ANNIVERSARY of ASSUMPTION to POWER
of the NSDAP
(30th Jan 1936)
This postcard commemorates the 4th Anniversary of the Nazi Party being in power (30th Jan 1933). This card is inscribed 'The 4th Year', "Siegen-Arbeiten Weiter marschieren" - 'Win-Work March On' and depicts a civilian marching arm-in-arm with two members of the Nazi Party SA. In the background is the rising sun, portraying a message that together, workers and the Nazi Party can create an exciting new dawn for Germany.
This card is related to the 1934 1st Anniversary postcard.

There were two official postcards, P257 and P258, issued to advertise the 1936 IV Winter Olympic Games held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In addition to those official cards there were a number of private postcards that were published around 6th to 16th Feb 1936 to promote the games.

This postcard is the same as the 1936 PP122-D-1/01, only now with an additional inscription on the front left-hand side. The inscription covers almost the entire left-hand pane and consists of 15 lines of text beginning "Das diesjährige Stiftungsfest" and ending "DER VORSTAND".

This postcard features a woman in farming attire carrying a sheath of wheat and was drawn by artist Ludwig Hohlwein to promote the 3rd National Agricultural Producers' Exhibition held in Frankfurt a.M from 17th to 24th Apr 1936.

The lawyers had 3 days, but the lowly craftsmen only got one day, 2nd Jun 1936. The front of the card is inscribed 'Arbeit und Ehre' - 'Work and Honour' and the picture shows various craftsmen at work.

BAVARIAN OSTMARK EXHIBITION

There were three postcards published to commemorate the Bavarian Ostmark Postage Stamp Exhibition held in Coburg on 6th and 7th Jun 1936. The first card has a postman delivering mail using a stagecoach, the second shows a bus and the third a man on horseback approaching the gates to a town. The third image below has the special red rubber stamp which was used at the event.

OLYMPIC POSTAL EXHIBITION
(1st/16th Aug 1936)
This set of four postcards was published to commemorate the Olympic Postal Exhibition which ran in parallel with the games. The first design is captioned "Deutsche Arbeit", the second "Deutsche Familie", the third "Deutsche Musik" and the fourth "Deutsche Luftfahrt". This set of cards was later re-issued several times with variations in the value of the pre-printed stamp, as well as the text printed on the front of the card. The images on the reverse of the cards remained the same for each re-issue.

The following postcard was a presentation of the National Socialist Kraft durch Freude association. The card was used to promote the 32nd Cruise of the M.S. MONTE SARMIENTO of the Hamburg - Southamerican Steam Ship Company. A similar card was also used to commemorate the 17th cruise in Sep 1935.

HOCHLAND YOUTH CAMP
(14th/21st Aug 1936)
Commemorates German Youth whilst camped at Hochland. The reverse reads 'Hochlander, Die groβe Schule des Gebietes Hochland' - 'Hochlander, the big school of the Hochland area'. The card was published by Vereinigte Kunstanstalten A.G Kaufbeuren, Bayern and was also used in 1937 and 1938.

24th GERMAN EASTERN FAIR
(23rd/26th Aug 1936)
There were 4 very similar postcards published to commemorate the 1936 German Eastern Fair held in Königsberg from 23rd to 26th Aug 1936. The first two have 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamps (PP127-C-21/01 and -/02). PP127-C-21/02 can be distinguished from -01 by the additional text "3. PHILATELISTTISCHE OSTLANDTAGUNG" just above the image on the left pane.
The other two cards (PP142-C-5/01 and -/02) differ from the first two postcards in that they have 5Rpf Luftpost stamps but are otherwise identical. PP142-C-5/02 also has the additional text whilst PP142-C-5/01 does not.
Two special cancels were used at the fair inscribed 'KÖNIGSBERG | (PR) | DOK | Deutsche Ostmesse' and 'KÖNIGSBERG | philatelistische | Ostland-Tagung'.

THE ARMY POSTCARD

This series of 10 postcards was published by Kunstverlag Andelfinger, München 15, probably sometime in 1936 (the earliest cancellation date I have seen is Sep 1936). This attractive series of postcards is referred to as 'Postkarte der Wehrmacht' and depicts 10 scenes of German troops in action. The postcard shown below is No.7 in the original 1936 series. There are at least two variations in the reverse side of the card, the second set being published in 1938.

3rd BERLIN-NEUKÖLLN EXHIBITION

Published to commemorate the third Berlin-Neukölln Postal Exhibition on the occasion of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. The event was sponsored by the Neukölln Philatelic Society. The card is very plain with 4 lines of green text in the bottom left-hand pane which reads "III. Postwertzeichen Ausstellung | anlaβlich d. Olymp Festspiele 1936 | des Neuköllner Philatelisten-Klubs | Berlin-Neukölln".

MARCH of The HITLER YOUTH

These two postcards commemorate the March of the members of the Hitler Youth, to the annual Reichsparteitag, held in Nürnberg in 1936. The cards are identical except for the inscription at the top of the cards. The first is inscribed 'Adolf Hitler - March der H-J' (Adolf Hitler - March of the Hitler Jugend) whereas the second is simply inscribed 'Reichsparteitag'.

MARCH of GAU SAXONY

This postcard commemorates the March of the members of the Saxony Gau from Dresden to Nürnberg prior to the start of the annual Nazi Rally held from 8th to 14th Sep 1936. The example below shows the special cancel that was used in Nürnberg during the rally of 1936.

This postcard was published to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Bergedorf Stamps, and the historical exhibition held to celebrate the occasion between 25th and 27th Sep 1936. There was a special cancellation used that can be seen on the postcard below inscribed "BERGEDORF | 75 Jahre Bergedorfer Briefmarken".

1st THÜRINGEN / JENA STAMP EXHIBITION
PP122-C-31 and PP127-C-22
(3rd/4th Oct 1936)
There were four postcards issued to commemorate the 1st Thüringen postage stamp exhibition held in Jena on 3rd and 4th Oct 1936. There were two different designs, the first depicts the marketplace and Memorial in Jena (This exists in both PP122-C-31/01, 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion, and PP127-C-22/01, 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion variants).
The second design features an image of the city gate in Jena, and it also exists as PP122-C-31/02 with a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion and PP127-C-22/02 with a 6Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp.
There was also a special cancel used which can be seen on some of the cards shown below.

Commemorating the 3rd Munster Postage Stamp Exhibition held from 16th to 18th Oct 1936. There were different sets of postcards issued, the first with pre-printed stamps and the second without. The first set with a 5Rpf Hindenburg Medallion (PP126-C-14) and a 5Rpf Luftpost Airmail stamp (PP142-C-6). The second set had a completely different design and did not have a pre-printed stamp.

BERLIN AIRMAIL COLLECTOR'S SHOW
(1st Nov 1936)
There were 3 postcards issued to commemorate the 1st Berlin Airmail Collector's Club Show in Nov 1936. The first two cards are identical except for the value stamp, the first has a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp (PP122-C-32/01) and the second has a 15Rpf Luftpost stamp and a 1Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp (PP139-C-1). The card stock is brown for both cards. The third card (PP122-C-32/02) is identical except for the addition of a vertical line to the right of the image and a horizontal line to the right of this line. This card also has a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp and the card stock is 'cream' or brown.
In addition to these cards there is another version (No PP No.) that has no pre-printed stamp.
There was another version of this card issued in 1941, PP122-C-112, which also had a 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamp but had a slightly modified design.
