This section of the site is dedicated to the special stamps (Gelegenheitsstempel and Sonderstempel), of Germany from 1870 until 1945. The areas covered are divided into the German Empire from 1870 until 1914, The First World War from 1914 to 1918, The Weimar Republic from 1919 until 1932 and the Third Reich from 1933 until 1945.
