This series of five postcards was published to advertise the services offered by the German national airline 'Deutsche Lufthansa'.

AUCH IM WINTER
ALSO IN WINTER

This postcard advertises the fact that Lufthansa flies even during the winter and depicts one of their aircraft flying above a winter landscape. This particular example was cancelled with the special cancel used at the STUTTGART 1st Stamp Exhibition held from 8th to 16th Jn 1938. Of interest are the three Lufthansa vignettes (poster stamps), that were applied by the sender.
