BACKGROUND: Issued 1st Aug 1936 and available until the 16th of Aug (for the duration of the games). The sheet itself is watermarked "XI OLYMPISCHE SPIELE" and "BERLIN 1936" and was produced on handmade paper so there are variations in colour and thickness of the paper. The stamps are the same as the earlier individual stamps from the set comprising Michel 612, Michel 613, Michel 614 and Michel 615: 8+4Rpf, 12+6Rpf, 15+10Rpf and 25+15Rpf respectively, but are now numbered Michel 628, Michel 629, Michel 630 and Michel 631.
