P132 to P139
GERMANIA & CANCELED BAYERN

Postcards measuring 140 x 90mm. Expenditure issue. These postcards feature an old Bayern stamp crossed through with two horizontal bars as well as an additional new Germania stamp. The Bayern stamps are 1919/20 issue stamps with overprinted "Freistaat Bayern" text. These postcards have the issue date of the card on the bottom right-hand corner; a '19' for '1919' or a '20' for '1920'.

The horizontal bars over the Bayern stamps exist as either solid bars or split bars. Postcards with solid bars are identified as Type 'I', whereas postcards with split horizontal bars are identified as Type "II".
