BACKGROUND: Issued 1921 due to another postal rate increase. K22 is the second of only two Kartenbrief to feature a 40Pf, GERMANIA, pre-printed stamp inscribed "DEUTSCHES REICH". K21 and K22 are identical except for the colour of the inside of the envelope. K21 has a blue-grey interior whereas K22 has a rose-white interior.
