CARD 5 of 8
The fifth card in the series is somewhat of a departure from the rally itself which was the subject of the first four cards. On this card NSKK members are seen on motorcycle exercises.
The National Socialist Motor Corps (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps, NSKK) was a Nazi paramilitary organisation that existed from 1931 until 1945.

SPECIAL SLOGAN CANCELS
1. The example below is postally unused but has been favoiur cancelled with the special handstamp used to commemorate the KdF Collector Group's postal exhibition held in BERLIN in Sep 1937.

2. The first postally used domestic card below was cancelled during the rally (11.9.1937), but with a totally unrelated special cancel in MANNHEIM, and was sent to LEUTKIRCH im ALLGAÜ, a city located in south-eastern BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG.

3. This second example was also not cancelled at the rally, it was posted almost two weeks later in MUNICH and was destined for SCHWANDORF, not too far away on the River Naab in Upper BAVARIA. The special cancel on this example was used to commemorate Italian premier Benito Mussolini's visit to Germany from 25th to 28th Sep 1937.

4. The following card was cancelled in MÜNCHEN on 9th Nov 1937 and was destined for MAGDEBURG. The special slogan on this example was a very common one advising the public to ensure they put the street and house number on their mail. Of more interest is the image printed on the reverse side of the card, that shows German paratroops landing en masse.
