OFFICIAL POSTCARD
5th ANNIVERSARY of POWER
This official postcard was issued on 28th Jan 1938 to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nazi Party being in Government (Hitler became Chancellor on 30th Jan 1933). The postcard features a torchbearer in front of the Brandenburg Gate.

OFFICIAL POSTCARD
ANNEXATION of AUSTRIA
This Official postcard was issued on 8th Apr 1938 and was intended to commemorate the vote on the Anschluss (Union) with Austria. The original vote was scheduled for 13th Mar, but the German army invaded the day before and the vote was delayed until 10th Apr. The reverse of the card features a pre-printed 6 Rpf stamp with a German and an Austrian standing together like friends and bearing a swastika flag . The front of the card has a map of Greater Germany (including Austria) with Hitler's portrait in the centre.

K.d.F CONFERENCE
These official postcards (one postcard and one reply card) were issued in Jun 1938 to commemorate the K.d.F Strength through Joy conference held in Hamburg. The cards feature an image of a woman waving a handkerchief and saying goodbye to a ship (the Wilhelm Gustloff). The pre-printed stamp is a 5 Rpf Airmail stamp, Michel 529. Michel P246 is a regular postcard whereas P247 is a reply card.

SAXONY at WORK
These two Official postcards were issued on 10th Jun 1938. Postcard for the exhibition "Saxony at Work", Dresden. P269 also for the 125th Anniversary of the Battle of the Nations, Leipzig. Front left: emblem in silver print and advertising text in the same color. The crossed swords are the emblem of the Meissen Works.

S.A. COMPETITIONS
Official postcard issued 12th Jul 1938 to advertise the Reich competitions of the SA in Berlin. The pre-printed 6 Rpf stamp features an SA man (head shot). The picture on the left shows a map of greater Germany with the 'SA' symbol and a sword and swastika surrounded by an oak leaves laurel.

OFFICIAL POSTCARD
REICHSPARTEITAG
This somewhat non-descript Official postcard was issued on 1st Sep 1938 to commemorate the opening of the Nazi party rally (5th to 12th Sep 1938). The rally was named "The Nazi Party Congress of Greater Germany" following the annexation of Austria earlier in the year. The pre-printed stamp is a 6 Rpf + 19 Rpf Hitler's head inscribed "Reichsparteitag 1938". The left-hand pane has a view of Nürnberg Castle.

The following 6 postcards were issued as part of the annual Winter Relief Fund donation drive. The cards are labeled Oct to Mar and there was a special cancel used in 27 different cities.

SUDETENLAND VOTE
Issued 2nd Dec 1938. Issued on the occasion of the vote in the Sudetenland. The pre-printed stamp features an Eagle on top of a rock in front of the swastika. Along the bottom edge of the stamp is the inscription '4.Dezember 1938' in white text. On the back is a relief map of Germany and the Sudetenland. This postcard was re-issued in 1939 as P279 which can be identified by the obliteration of the '4. Dezember 1938' text on the bottom edge of the stamp as well as some additional text below the word 'Postkarte'.

KÖLN CARNIVAL
Official postcards issued 31st Dec 1938 to celebrate the Köln Carnival. There were two versions of this postcard, one with a green 6 Rpf pre-printed stamp and the other issued 16th Feb 1939 which has a brown 6 Rpf pre-printed stamp.
