(24th Apr 1929)

The text on the front of the card reads "DIE AUSGESTREUTEN KALISALZE FÖRDERN DAS GEDEIHEN DER PFLANZEN AUF ACKER UND WIESE" Loosely translated as 'THE SPREADING OF POTASSIUM SALTS PROMOTE THE THRIVING OF THE PLANTS ON THE FIELD AND GRASSLAND'. This card is similar to another card in my collection cancelled in 1929 and referring to lime.

DER NÜRNBERGER TRICHTER
(Oct 1930)

This postcard was cancelled on 14th Oct 1930 but is not related to any special event, instead it is dedicated to the Nuremburg funnel. The inscription reads "Der Nürnberger Trichter | Macht alle Köpfe lichter | Es | ist fürwahr | der nötigst Tand | Den je | der Menschheit | geist | erfand" - 'The Nuremberg Funnel, it Lightens up everyone's heads. It is truly the most necessary bauble that the spirit of mankind has ever invented'

INTERNATIONAL HYGIENE EXHIBITION - DRESDEN
(May/Oct 1930)

The International Hygiene Exhibition was held in Dresden in 1929 and 1930 and there were a number of very similar Special Cancellations used during the event. The following seies of cards reflects some of the different slogans that were used.
