SPECIAL SLOGAN CANCEL - LEIPZIG
FUR and HUNTING EXHIBITION
(May to Sep 1930)

The cover below was sent from LEIPZIG to BAD REICHENHALL (after being diverted from FREIBURG) on 2nd Sep 1930. The stamp is a 15Rpf stamp from the 1928 German Presidents commemorative issue Michel 414. The cover has the first of two type Bd special slogan cancels used to promote the 1930 Fur and Hunting Exhibition held in LEIPZIG from May to Sep 1930.




The following cover also has a Type 'Bd' cancellation but this time from LEIPZIG C2 post office on 16th Apr 1930




The following cover has another variant of the above special cancels, this one is a Type 'A' and was applied at the LEIPZIG C5 post office on 3rd Feb 1930.




The following card features the alternative design of special slogan cancel used in LEIPZIG in 1930. The stamp is a 5Rpf stamp from the 1928 German Presidents commemorative issue Michel 411
