This series of postcards is actually six different sets of cards all under the "INFANTRIE 486" banner. The cards were prodcued by VERLAG UND VERTRIEB C. PAHL & Co. of HAMBURG 11.



All of the cards have the same short text on the reverse side in the upper left-hand corner that reads "ADOLF HITLER: ÜBER ALLEM STEHT IN SEINER LEISTUNG DER DEUTSCHE INFANTERIST" - '"ADOLF HITLER: ABOVE ALL IN HIS PERFORMANCE STANDS THE GERMAN INFANTRYMAN".

'"Forward and get to the enemy." This is the slogan of our grenadiers during the assault.'

'Again, the successful grenadier shock troop leader succeeded in destroying several enemy bunkers.'

"Leichtverwundeter Grenadier auf dem Wege zum Verbandsplatz. Bald ist er wieder bei den Kameraden."

'Slightly wounded grenadier on the way to the first aid station. Soon he will be back with his comrades.'
