OFFICIAL DEUTSCHES REICH POSTCARDS USED IN UKRAINE

From the day that the UKRAINE was occupied until 14th Nov 1941 regular issue German issue postage stamps were used. Even after the issue of stamps overprinted UKRAINE, regular issue German stamps were still valid for use in this area.

Official postcards issued with the UKRAINE overprint are only found with Adolf Hitler portrait pre-printed stamps of either 3, 5 or 6 Rpf.
