COMMEMORATING HITLER'S STATE VISIT TO ITALY
(3rd/9th May 1938)
BACKGROUND: There were several postcards issued to commemorate Hitler's state visit to Italy from 3rd until 9th May 1938.

GERMANY and ITALY
This second postcard features half-body photographs of Hitler on the left and Mussolini on the right inside oval borders. Above the two leaders are three coats of arms and a ribbon inscribed "DEUTSCHLAND UND ITALIEN".



VERLAG ALFRED OEMLER
Another postcard was published by Verlag Alfred Oemler featuring Hitler walking along from right to left with a large Swastika emblem behind him.
