BACKGROUND: This postcard was issued to commemorate the postage stamp exhibition held in the 'Rusthaus', Hannover. The card features a 3 Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp and there is an inscription on the reverse. This card also exists without the pre-printed stamp.

SONDERSTEMPEL: A special cancel inscribed "HANNOVER | Briefmarken ausstellung | vom 16.-18.9.1938" was available and can be seen on the example below from my collection.
