The first card, shown below, features the special cancel used at the exhibition. The second card has a portrait layout and bears the inscription "ANDENKEN AN DIE ERSTE".
SONDERSTEMPEL: A special cancel was made available during the show inscribed "BERLIN-CHARLOTTENBURG 5 | Internationale | handwerks - | Ausstellung | Berlin 28.5-10.7 | 1938"

INTERNATIONAL HANDICRAFT EXHIBITION
This first card is inscribed in English rather than German promoting the desire for the shows organisers to be truly global. The inscription reads "INTERNATIONAL | HANDICRAFT | EXHIBITION | 1938 | BERLIN | FROM 28th MAY TO 10th JULY."

ANDENKEN AN DIE ERSTE
MEMORY OF THE FIRST
This postcard is in portrait format and is titled "ANDENKEN AN DIE ERSTE" or "MEMORY OF THE FIRST" referring to the fact that this was the first international show with the likelihood of more to come in the future.
