BACKGROUND: This striking postcard was designed by Lehner and issued to commemorate the 6th Convention of Ethnic Germans Living Abroad, held in Stuttgart from the 26th of Aug to the 4th Sep 1938.

SONDERSTEMPEL: There was an accompanying special cancel inscribed 'STUTTGART | VI. Reichstagung d. Auslandsdeutschen | 26.8.-4.9.38 | Stadt der Auslandsdeutschen'
