BACKGROUND: There were three postcards published to commemorate the National Colonial Conference held in Bremen from 26th to 29th May 1938.

DER REICHSKOLONIALBUND RUFT AUCH DICH!
THE NATIONAL COLONIAL LEAGUE CALLS YOU!

Published by the Reichskolonialbund, the card is inscribed 'Der Reichskolonialbund ruft auch dich!' or 'The National Colonial League Calls on You!' a rallying cry for the organisation. The image shows the former African colonies that Germany lost at the end of the First World War, they are Kamerun, Deutsche Südwest Afrika, Deutsche Ost-Afrika and Togo.

AFRICA CALLS

Another postcard published to commemorate the National Colonial Conference, this time entitled "Afrika ruft" - 'Africa calls'.

REICHSKOLONIALTAGUNG
NATIONAL COLONIAL LEAGUE DAY

This final card is somewhat similar to the first card above in colour but the design is quite different. The emblem of the National Colonial League is still present but the globe has been replaced with a key and an old sailing ship. Below this is the inscription "Reichs-Kolonialtagung | Bremen 26. - 29.Mai 1938".
