BACKGROUND: There were several student graduation cards published during 1938.

This first postcard was published for a high school in the southern Bavarian city of Mindelheim.




This next postcard was also published for a school in Mindelheim. The figure depicts a Bronze statue of Georg von Frundsberg (1473–1528), a German military and Landsknecht leader, located on the corner of the town hall in Mindelheim, his native town. The banner beneath his left foot is the Coat of Arms of Mindelheim and below his right is a Nazi swastika. Behind Frundsberg is the city's Upper and Lower Gate.
