VDA PEASANT'S FESTIVAL - HAALE (SAALE)

BACKGROUND: This postcard commemorates the Halle, VDA traditional costume festival, featuring Sudeten Germans' National costumes. There were several postcards available:

PP122-C-46: 3 Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION,
PP126-C-19: 5 Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION,
PP127-C-27: 6 Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION,
PP127-C-36: 6 Rpf HINDENBURG MEDALLION,
PP142-C-27: 5 Rpf LUFTPOST.

These cards are also available without the pre-printed stamps and also without the inscription on the reverse "V.D.A Trachtenfest Halle (Salle) | 5 Marz 1938".

SONDERSTEMPEL: The special cancel used with these cards is inscribed "HALLE (SALLE)| Trachtenfest".
