1. LEISTUNGSSCHAU DER DSG
PP122-C-90 and PP142-C-34
(28th May/12th Jun 1938)
BACKGROUND: These two postcards were published to mark the 1st performance show of the local German Collectors' Group held in Zwickau, Saxony and depict the Konig-Albert Museum. The event ran from the 28th May through to the 12th of Jun 1938.
There are two cards differentiated by the pre-printed value stamp and colour of the image as follows:
PP122-C-90: 3Rpf stamp and blue image.
PP142-C-34: 5Rpf stamp and green image.
In addition PP142-C-34 can be found with an incorrect date stamp of 1937.
SONDERSTEMPEL: There was a special cancel used that is inscribed "ZWICKAU (SACHS) | Postwertzeichenschau d.D.S.G" and is visible on the two examples shown below.

INCORRECT DATE STAMP
There is another version of PP142-C-34. This card is exactly the same as the one above only it has been cancelled with the special cancel dated 1937 instead of 1938. Other than that the card is exactly the same as PP142-C-34.
