REGENSBURG GYMNASTICS FESTIVAL

BACKGROUND: This popstcard was published by Graphische Kunstantstalt Heinrich Schiele of Regensburg and appears to commemorate the opening of the Regensburg Gymnasium on 5th Jan 1930.
The self-adhesive stamp affixed to the example on the left is a 1930 issue Michel 444 stamp that was issued to commemorate the evacuation of the Rhineland by occupation forces following the end of the first world war.
The card on the right has a special cancel not associated with the festival.
