The Gustav-Adolf-Verein, also known as Gustavus Adolphus Union, Gustav-Adolf-Stiftung, Evangleischer Verin der Gustav-Adolf-Stiftung, and today know as the Gustav-Adolf-Werk, is a society within the Evangelical Church of Germany (EKD). The organisation gets its name from one of the most important Protestants of the seventeenth century, Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, who died during the Thirty Years' War.
