BACKGROUND: This postcard was published to commemorate the 36th German Philatelist's Day and the 7th Bundestag, held in Altenburg (Thürungia) from 11th to 13th Jul 1930. The image is that of the "Red Peaks", the brick towers of the Canons' Monastery in Altenburg.
There is an inscription that reads:

The next card was posted in LEIPZIG and bears the special handstamp used to commemorate the 1931 Spring fair. The card was cancelled on 9th May 1931 and sent to REGENSBURG.
