GERMAN CHILDREN'S AID
This was the only Printed to private order postcard to feature this particular stamp, an orange Bayern 10Pf Coat of Arms pre-printed stamp, overprinted "Deutsches Reich". The front of the card has the inscription "Deutsche Kinderhilf in Bayern" - 'German Children's Aid in Bavaria" on the left-hand side and "Offizielle Postkarte" - 'Official Postcard' on the right. The central dividing line also has an inscription "VERLAG WERBEDIENST".
The reverse of the card features a destitute child begging for help.

SCHLESWIG PLEBISCITE
(14th Mar 1920)
On 14th Mar 1920 the people of Schleswig on the borders of Germany and Denmark voted to determine if they would become part of Germany or part of Denmark. To commemorate the event, and to help persuade the voters, there were quite a number of postcards produced.

FIRST GERMAN RAILWAY
(1922)
This postcard was published to commemorate the first German railway which began operations between NÜRNBERG and FÜRTH in 1835. This postcard is not dated so has been placed here due to the postally used date. The same design was used again in 1935 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the first German railway.
