PP73-A-2/01 to /20
Some PP73-A-2 cards appear used on 1st Jul 1923, but they were no longer valid after 30th Jun 1923 (valid from 1st Mar until 30th Jun 1923). These cards were permitted at the postcard rate so long as they had 5 words or less. The cards related to Bremen (/08 to /10) were properly printed as airmail cards and come with an additional self-adhesive 25 Mark stamp. All cards have the text in a typewriter font, which looks like it was printed. The primary use of these cards was philatelic and examples usually contain the address of a known airmail collector and they usually have red airmail confirmation stamps.Click here for more information.
