BACKGROUND: Following the tradition of the last two years another set of 9 stamps was issued to commemorate the Winter Relief Fund on the 18th Nov 1938. The stamps feature views of buildings and the Alpine flowers of Austria (now known as The Ostmark). The stamps were designed by von Axter-Heudtlass and this sixth stamp features Wien (Prince Eugene Statue, Vienna).
