BACKGROUND: As in previous years a set of 9 stamps was issued at the end of 1936 to raise money for the Winter Relief Fund. The stamps feature various modern buildings and were designed by Fritz.

VALIDITY: 21st Sep/28th Oct 1936 until 30th Jun 1937

SPECIAL HANDSTAMPS

The following series has been cancelled with the special handstamp used in MÜNCHEN to commemorate the 13th Anniversary of the failed Munich putsch. The handstamp is inscribed "MÜNCHEN | hauptstadt der | Bewegung | 9.11.23-9.11.36" - 'MUNICH | Birthplace of the Movement | 9.11.23 - 9.11.36'
