BACKGROUND: This was the sixth stamp in a series of nine semi-postal stamps that was designed by Prof Spiegel and issued to raise funds for the 1934 Winter Relief Charity drive. This stamp features a Farmer and cost 15Rpf (with 3Rpf being a donation to the charity). A related official postcard, featuring a stamp not in this series was also issued.

COLOUR: dark brownish-red

VARIATIONS
The stamps printed on sheets and those printed in booklets can only be differentiated if the gutter or a se-tenant stamp is still attached.
