INTERNATIONAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION - (IPOSTA)
This minisheet was issued for the 1930 International Philatelic Exhibition (IPOSTA), held in Berlin. The sheet cost 3.70 Reichsmarks which included an entry fee to the exhibition of 1 Reichsmark as well as a surcharge of 13Pf to cover the additional cost of the paper.
Due to the manual process of making the paper and the four step hand operated printing process used, there are significant variations in the paper as well as the shifting of the stamp positions relative to each other (more than 1 mm).

NOTES:
Beware of the so-called "reprint 1965", which was a primitive private reproduction which used a different printing technique.
The sheet consisted of four stamps which each have their own Michel number since they could be used individually or as a sheet. The four stamps have the same design as Michel 450 to 453 but can be distinquished from them since the stamps on the sheet have an imperial eagle watermark and those of the separately issued stamps have a waffle watermark.
