7th WAR WINTER RELIEF STREET COLLECTION

BACKGROUND: This series of 4 different postcards, each depicting a different variety of flower, was published to raise funds for the '7. KWHW REICHS-STRASSENSAMMLUNG' - '7th Kreigs Winterhilfswerk Reich's Street Collection' on behalf of the K.d.F Collector's Group. The cards cost 25Rpf each. The cards were sold without pre-printed stamps but the examples bellow all feature the 3Rpf stamp from the 1941 'Integration of Styria, Carinthia and Carniola' issue Michel 806
SONDERSTEMPEL: A special cancellation was used in MUNICH inscribed 'MUNCHEN HAUPTSTADT DER BEWIGENG | 7. WHW-REICHS-STRASSENSAMMLUNG | 30.3.1941 | Schaffende sammeln | Schaffende | geben', this cancellation can be seen on the examples below.
