HITLER ADDRESSES THE REICHSTAG
(30th Jan 1939)

BACKGROUND: This following postcard depicts Hitler at the rostrum and was issued to commemorate the speech he gave to the Reichstag on 30th Jan 1939. The text on the bottom left-hand side of the card reads "Der FÜHRER während seiner historischen Reichstagsrede am. 30. Januar 1939" - 'The FÜHRER during his historic Reichstag speech on January 30, 1939'

This image was also the inspiration for the 1939 issue Michel 694 and re-issued Michel 701 official commemorative postage stamps.
