BACKGROUND: This card was a promotional card to encourage people to visit the Zum Ritter Götz hotel in the wine town of Kröv, 150 m from the Moselle. The title of the card reads "Besucht die Reichsschenke "zum Ritter Götz", 'Visit the Reichsschenke "zum Ritter Götz"'.

The green text on the reverse side reads "Verlangen Sie meine Weinpreisliste." - 'Ask for my wine price list.'

1935 was the 250th Anniversary of the hotel. Built in 1685 the hotel still exits today and is open for business.
