MICHEL P256
OFFICIAL POSTCARD
GERMAN ENERGENCY AID
6Rpf

This postcard was issued on 5th Oct 1935 and was valid for use until 30th Jun 1936.

In addition to the 6 Rpf postal fee there was a 4 Rpf surcharge for the emergency relief fund. The image on the pre-printed stamp is of a member of the BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel) or Association of German Girls, an organisation similar to the Hitler Youth for boys.

As well as the official card there were several official cards with additional private printing.
