STEEL HELMET EXHIBITION

BACKGROUND: The following postcard was published to commemorate the Stahlhelm Exhibition held in the port city of BREMEN from 1st Jul until 1st Aug 1932.

The card is titled "WILLE UND WEHR" - 'will and defense' and features a medieval knight with sword and shield ready to defend. The Stahlhelm, or Bund der Frontsoldaten, was a military association consisting of delisted German soldiers after the end of the First World War.
