BACKGROUND: These postcards were part of a series of cards issued to raise money for the Saxony Winter Charity lottery. The lottery tickets were sold in a pack which also contained postcards (requires more research).

This card features a photograph of the Oskar-Seyffert Museum in DRESDEN (The Museum of Saxon Folk Art), named after a German painter, illustrator, folklorist and professor, born in DRESDEN on 19th Feb 1862.
