PP97-B-6
FRITZ PAEPLOW DRUCKSACHE

BACKGROUND: PP97-B-6 consists of a series of 25 postcards all with 3Rpf Goethe pre-printed stamp and sent from Frank Paeplow. The cards have the following text in the bottom left-hand corner.

"Drucksache
Absender
Fritz Paeplow
Berlin-Steglitz
Bismarckstr. 5".

Each card in the series has the name and address of a stamp collector who was sent these cards by Franz Paeplow in order to get the latest special cancels from various events around Germany. For the most part only around 500 pieces of each card were printed, however some of them have 1,000 pieces, /04 has 2,000 pieces and /05 has 1,500 peices.
