OFFICIAL POSTCARD

BACKGROUND: Issued 1929 and featuring a pre-printed 8 Rpf Ebert stamp. There were two very similar versions of this card, the other, P186, has a 5 Rpf Paul von Hindenburg pre-printed stamp.
Both cards were specially issued to advertise 'Reich's Accident Week' and have an image of a hand holding a snake and the inscription:
"Reichs
Unfallverhutungs=Woche
24. Februar bis 3. Marz
1929"
As well as the official P187 there were two private versions available which can be found below.

Other than pre-printed destination addresses these private versions are exactly the same as the official version.1. FRITZ DUDEL
This private issue has the destination of "Fritz Dudel" of Halle (Saale).


Dr. OTTO KRAUSE
This private issue has the destination of "Dr. Otto Krause" of Magdeburg.
