BACKGROUND: Issued in 1928 this card was sponsored by the "Deutsche Nothile" to raise funds. It bears the inscription "Ich bringe Glück" - 'I bring Luck' and features a small child holding two four leaf clovers. The pre-printed stamp is an 8 Rpf Coat of Arms.
An estimated 1,058,474 cards were sold and the cards were valid for use until 30th Jun 1930.
Examples of cards with an additional "Frankiere mit Wohlfahrtsbriefmarken", or similar inscription are known to exist. In addition, there were at least 10 different private printings of this card.

1. This domestically used card was sent to BURGSTEINFURT in WESTFALEN on 24.12.282. This P208 postcard below was sent from MAGDEBURG on 31.12.28. This example has a special slogan cancel inscribed "Nimm die einen | Fernsprechanschluss! | Er spart | Zeit und Geld" - 'Use the telephone, it saves time and money'.
3. The next card was sent from KÖNIGSBERG on 19th Feb 1929.
4. Another domestic usage, this time from ERLANGEN to ANSBACH in 1928
5. Posted on 22nd Mar 1929 the following card was sent from FRANKFURT (MAIN) and features a special slogan cancellation advertising "Frankfurt on the Main, the oldest German Fair".
