OFFICIAL REPLY CARD

BACKGROUND: P184 was issued in 1928 and features a 15Rpf carmine Hindenburg pre-printed stamp. There are four lines of text and two dotted lines in the sender's section and the vertical dividing line consisting of three lines.
P184 is almost identical to P198. On the Answer portion: For P184 the dotted line is 3mm below the crossbar of the vertical dividing line whereas for P198 the sender's section dotted line is 1½ mm below the crossbar of the vertical dividing line.
The inscriptions on the Messgae (F) and Answer (A) portions are as follows:

There were two variations of P184:
P184-I: with four straight edges
P184-II: with at least one serrated edge.
NOTE: Examples exist of P184-II being misprinted with two Answer 'A' portions instead of an (A) and an (F) portion.
As well as the official cards there were several official cards with additional private printing.

There were several official P182 postcards with additional private printing as below.
1. P184(F)/(A): (F) sender's address, (A) destination's address "ALA | Anzeigen-Aktien-Gesellschaft | BERLIN W 35". There are at least five different versions of this card with differnces in the texts.
