FIRST VERSION

Published for the German National People's Party (Deutschnationale Volkspartei, DNVP) and bears the inscription "Erhebe dich, mein Vaterland" - 'Rise up my Country' and was likely produced to encourage the population to vote for them in the upcoming election. If that's the case then it was not a successful campaign, as the party's share of the vote fell from 21% in 1924 to 14% after the 20th May 1928 election campaign.
