NORDHAUSEN 1000th ANNIVERSARY

BACKGROUND: This postcard was published to commemorate the 1,000th Anniversary of the city of NORDHAUSEN. It was published by DRUCK PLAKAT UND ETIKETTEN FABRIK KARL KOCH of NORDHAUSEN in HARZ. The inscription on the reverse side reads "Amtliche Festpostkarte | zur Jahrtausendfeier" - 'Official celebratory postcard | for the millennium celebration'

SONDERSTEMPEL: A special handstamp was available inscribed "NORDHAUSEN 1 | die 1000 jährige STADT am HARZ | 927 - 1927"
