BACKGROUND: Special postcard for the 100th anniversary of the Berlin Post Office C2. The front of the card has a pre-printed 8Rpf Beethoven stamp and the inscription "hundertjahrfeier des Briefpostamts | Berlin C2 | 1827 * 1. Dezember * 1927". The reverse side of the card features a multicolored picture of a postman from 1827.

There was a private version of this card that had nine lines of text in the left-hand pane.

SPECIAL CANCEL: There was a special cancellation inscribed "1827 . BERLIN C2 . 1927 | 100 Jahre Briefpostamt" with an image of the BERLIN post office.
