The picture side of this postcard bears the following inscription but it reqiures a better translation:

Schwaga, schau i hab' a 'Bitt',
Nimm mir do' die Botschaft mit.
Liaba, quata Postillon -
gibs' mein Schatz, du Kennst'n schon!

Schwaga, look, I have a request,
Take this message with you wherever you go.
Liaba, guata Postillon -
Give it to me, my darling, you already know!

The other side of the card is inscribed "Herausgegeben von der Gesellschaft zur Erforschung der Postgeschichte in Bayern, Munchen. Serie I, Nr 2" - 'Published by the Society for Research into Postal History in Bavaria, Munich. Series I, No. 2'

1. This used example from my collection was cancelled in REGENSBURG on New Year's Eve on 31st Dec 1925.




2. The following example is interesting in that it bears a special handstamp for the 67th German Philatelist's Day cancelled on 28th Aug 1966. Was this is re-issue or the original card being used 41 years after the first use?
