BACKGROUND: Issued in 1920 due to an increase in Postage rates. The layout of the card, the design of the pre-printed stamp and the overprint are the same as P125.
As well as the official postcard there were several private versions.

This P129 postcard was printed to advertise the company Joh Weiss who refer to themselves as "a Brazilian Tabacco Factory". The prospective buyer would write his/her order in the table on the reverse of the card, then post it to the company who would fulfill the order. There was a small area on the reverse, at the bottom of the card, where the buyer would write the delivery address.
3. GEBRÜDER BANDEKOW, MÜNICH
The 'Bandekow Brother's Bandages' was founded in 1880 and was responsible for a number of patents, particularly in the medical field.
