INTRODUCTION:
This section is devoted to general covers, package labels, envelopes and miscellaneous postal items used during the Weimar years.
POSTWERTZEICHEN-AUSSTELLUNG zu BERLIN 1922
1922 POSTAGE STAMP EXHIBITION - BERLIN
To commemorate the 1922 Postage Stamp Exhibition held in BERLIN from 15th to 22nd Oct 1922 there were a series of pre-printed envelopes featuring an indicia stamp and the inscription "Postwertzeichen-Ausstellung | zu Berlin 1922". Two examples of which can be seen below.
In addition there was at least three almost identical Private Postcards, and a special commemorative handstamp used for the duration of the exhibition.
