BACKGROUND: This stamp is the first in a series of four Prof. W. Dachaur designed stamps issued on 8th Mar 1941 to commemorate the Vienna Spring Fair of 1941. The design depicts the image of a dancer.
A special postmark and an accompanying slogan postmark were used between the 9th and 16th Mar 1941.
