BACKGROUND: The following Meerwald stamp is the second of three stamps issued on 17th Feb 1939 to commemorate the International Automobile and Motorcycle Show held in Berlin. There was also a special postmark used for the duration of the show, from 17th Feb 1939 until 5th Mar 1939.
