POSTWERTZEICHENSCHAU GAU WARTHELAND

BACKGROUND: There were four postcards published to commemorate the 1st postage stamp show in Gau Wartheland. Two of them had an industrial scene on the left-hand pane and the other two had a picture of General Litzmann. Each design came with either a 5PF Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp or a 5Pf Hitler Medallion stamp. There was also a special cancel used at the show.
