BACKGROUND: Issued 12th Sep 1942. This postcard was issued to commemorate the Founding European Youth Conference in Vienna in 1942. The card is inscribed 'GRÜNDUNGSTAGUNG DES EUROPÄISCHEN JUGENDVERBANDES WIEN 1942' (FOUNDING CONFERENCE of the EUROPEAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION VIENNA 1942).

A private version of this postcard was issued to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of German Stamp Dealer's Day later in 1942.
