THE GERMAN ARMED FORCES

BACKGROUND: This series of impressive artist's impressions postcards was published by Heinrich Hoffmann and features aspects of the Wehrmacht including the Heer, the Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine. The cards were all designed/drawn by prolific artist Gottfried Klein. I don't know the precise date of issue, but one of the cards in my collection has been cancelled on 'The Day of German Police' in Feb 1941 and again almost two weeks later at the end of Feb 1941. I do not know how many cards are in this series but I have seen at least 10 examples.
